Tooth Restoration

If your teeth have had intense, excessive, and severe damage, you want the best repair if it’s beyond what would be considered normal repair. If this is your case, we will use porcelain crowns, or porcelain cast on gold crowns, making your teeth and smile look new again.

We offer dental implants if those would be suitable for your situation. We will discuss with you the plan for your best treatment. Implants replace your missing teeth to have a functioning bite. We are well-known for this specific restoration using the latest material and expertise in the dental business.

Implants become permanent teeth as they attach to your bone where the roots lived on your natural teeth. They should last a lifetime or at least 20- to 40-years when they are properly cared for and visits are made to our office for checkups. Visit us today for the most remarkable restorative dentistry.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are attached over your existing teeth when they have extensive decay and a filling is not advisable and have no viable benefit for the tooth.

The teeth needing attention will have the decay removed. The tooth is next shaped and an impression is made for the crown to fit. The crown or crowns will be made of porcelain for visible front teeth, molars will be made of porcelain, or porcelain bonded to gold, or pure gold. Pure gold is more expensive and lasts indefinitely when you take care of it.

After we have removed the decay, we will attach a temporary crown made of plastic or metal that you will wear until your final crowns are made. When you come back for your next visit, the temporary crowns will be removed and the permanent crowns fitted and cemented into place. The cement is super solid to last for decades. You’ll want to be careful flossing your teeth so not to get the floss caught on a side edge of the crown to pull it loose. This can happen in rare cases after many years have gone by. Stop by our office to see what perfection we can do for you.

When are Crowns Recommended?

  • Crowns replace missing teeth;

  • Crowns support distorted or broken teeth;

  • They look natural and no one knows;

  • They make chewing easier to do;

  • Your smile will be more wonderful.

Dental Crown and Bridgework

A very reliable solution for major dental problems from disease, accidents, neglect, and years of wear and tear can be rectified using the finest first-rate porcelain or porcelain bonded to gold for your crowns. Bridges are created with the same material to cross over from one tooth to another when one is missing in between. If you’ve had a root canal filling, adding a crown can prevent it from breaking. Dental crown and bridgework is performed on those people with a host of teeth issues needing major repair.

Inlays and Onlays

The crux of ceramic inlays and ceramic onlays is simply larger forms of dental fillings. They are used primarily for severe tooth decay or tooth damage. Those teeth cannot be repaired using conventional fillings. Inlays and onlays are durable and long lasting to replace the entire top biting section (cusp) of your tooth.

People not needing a full crown will find dental restoration with a dental inlay or dental overlay ideal for them. We will be happy to further explain inlays to you with pictures for a better understanding.

Same Natural Teeth Color or Gold for Inlays or Onlays

The perfect material for dental restoration can be metal for the back molars while a color matching your natural teeth is best for the front teeth and more noticeable teeth when you smile.

Materials can be ceramic, porcelain, and gold. After we take impressions of the teeth involved for restoration, we create your custom inlay or onlay to fit perfectly. We then put it firmly in place. We will give you guidelines for home care and proper dental hygiene for brushing and flossing.

We look forward to seeing you to further explain our dental restoration procedures for whatever method is best for you.
